Yes? I hear ya. I was totally freaked out. But I got over myself, and you can, too.
First of all, why even get into video?
I got over my fear of the smartphone lens and I want to share how I did it with 10 people.
There is nothing like a video to explain, engage and entertain. As Brian Fanzo says, "Show. Don't tell."
If so, I feel ya! I let my own fear stop me for about a year. A few people including Holly Gillen and Carrie Glenn encouraged me to get over my fear, and now that I have, I want to share the technique that worked for me.
Of course, you can create many forms of video without being in front of the lens. But if you are your brand, or you speak for it, I strongly suggest you get started practicing this powerful and valuable skill.
I actually stumbled into the specific way I got over my fear of the lens. It's really easy; you just need a guide.
So how does it work? You fill out the contact form linked below and I'll review your submission. Assuming you are chosen to be in my class of 10, I'll share my Let's Do Video! lessons with you via email and support you as you send in three practice videos. I promise not to share your creations with anyone nor post them anywhere, and your email address will not be added to any list. Sound like a plan?
Disclaimer: Of course, I can't guarantee any specific results. I can't promise that I'll turn you into a total video ninja. What I can promise is that I'll do my best to teach you what I've learned. By filling out the contact form, you acknowledge that I am making no guarantees. The only thing I ask of you is that you give this a good college try.
